Working in a very big multi-faculty university, it was difficult for my office to balance the competing priorities of the division‘s needs and my diary largely because doing each well often requires different skill sets and immediate problems with office equipment always took priority.  Arranging my schedule kept being postponed and it was becoming a problem.  I knew my diary needed focus as there are so many large set piece meetings combined with lots of smaller ad hoc, in different locations across our Bloomsbury estate... and it all needed sorting!  It isn’t a full time post but rather an hour or two everyday.
